Every year on December 31st, I am always awaiting the new year and watching the countdown to the following year. I will always miss the previous year because I have fond memories of 2012 that I will share with you. I am still excited for the new year of 2013 and I am believing that it will be lots of fun. I also love to watch the new year's countdown while counting down the seconds of the year.

I have lots of memories of the year 2012. I like to write down the memories of 2012 on this story so that I don't forget them later on. I will tell you what I did this year.

This year we had a great Christmas. We opened presents and I got a new video camera. Then we went to Aunt Kathy's house for Christmas. We went shopping at the mall and bought Christmas decorations for the house. Our house looked beautiful from down the street. On December 21, we celebrated Mayan Calendar Day and the resurrection of the Long Count Calendar. The world did not end but the calendar restarted. On December 8, we did not go to Friendly's because I did not want to celebrate that tragic day. Instead, we went for a ride in dad's car. In November, we had a pretty good Thanksgiving. Our Halloween was not so bad, but it was a bit delayed due to the hurricane. We went on a few trips around the year. Over the summer, we went on a fun vacation.

I remember a funny thing from grandma. She was cooking once in her kitchen and she left the onions on the table. Then I went inside the kitchen and quietly threw away all of the onions and ran back to the computer. When grandma came back into the kitchen, she asked me what happened to the onions and I told her that I threw them in the garbage. And then we both laughed together.

On January 29, I told grandma that she was cooking disgusting food, so I closed down her kitchen and made it bankrupt. She was a little upset when she heard that I closed her kitchen.

In the beginning of 2012, I counted down the new year to 2012 and said goodbye to 2011. I told 2011 that I would miss them. I will share you stories of what we did in 2011 but I will share it to you on another blog post. I had lots of great memories in 2012 and I will share photos on Facebook with you.

As the years will go on I will start to miss 2012 and think about it while we record memories together. I will always share memories of 2012 on the next stories. On my next stories I will talk about more things that make me happy. In the meantime, I will finish my work on the computer and when dad gets home, I will write another story in the new year of 2013. I will still miss 2012 but 2013 is even more exciting because there is so much to look forward to in the new year of 2013. I will share with you my thoughts about the new year next time. See you soon.
Hi again! Matty's back! Sorry I haven't posted in quite a long time. In the time I had not been writing, I have been experiencing the things that all kids experience. Growing up is something that all kids do and it can be exciting at times but also a little bit difficult. In my last writings you saw how much I enjoyed spending time with Pop. Now I am at an age where I'm trying to make friends of my own. Mom and dad take me out sometimes and we do fun things. We went to see a Christmas concert performed by TSO last year. I'll share a little bit of the concert with you now. The band played a lot of great music. They sang some great Christmas songs that made me feel good. It was fun to see the band play great music. I will tell you more about it later in another story. We also went to see an Islanders game which was a lot of fun. I like hockey because it was great watching when they scored a goal. I'm still learning the game and would look forward to seeing another game sometime. I enjoyed how the players skated on the ice. The crowd cheered when the sirens would go off and they scored a goal. Another sport I like is baseball. Mom is a big Yankee fan and Dad is a big Mets fan. I like the Mets though but I am sorry that they are losing. I like the Yankees too because they always win. I will always try to do my best in writing about something interesting. Now let's get back to writing!

I enjoy writing because it helps me learn new things. Dad is trying to help me with ideas to write about. I will write about my experiences in the stories that I share with you. I am in the 7th grade and my favorite subject is Math. I am learning things that all kids learn. My spelling is getting better and I enjoy when the teachers tell me to write stories. Sometimes it is hard coming up with ideas. To help me with ideas I often have to write phrases in my composition book to write about. For example, like the concert and the hockey game. I will tell you more about those outings later. In the meantime I will talk about my ideas. It is very sad to hear about Whitney. So I will write a story about music and how it is a great influence for me. I will also write about my life experiences. I also like movies so I will write about that too. I like to watch TV so I will write about that. And like I told you before, I will write about my friends. I will write about Winter since this one was much warmer than last year. Last year we had about 2 feet of snow so that may be a good idea. I would also like to introduce you to our other blogs so I will tell you how to visit them. I will think about more ideas later.
I think writing is important because it helps you share your feelings instead of keeping it inside you. I will continue writing now. Thank you! The end

And I'm writing another blog-copied story from my dad's blog "A Father's Love, My Son and Autism". Today I'm writing a story about Pop. This one is not as sad as my father's stories about Pop. In this story I am going to say I this time instead of Matty. Another thing is that the title I chose for this story possibly changed a little bit. The story on my dad's blog was "Matty remembers Pop in his own words". And after that I will copy another story on my dad's blog. It is called "Explaining to Matthew about Pop". Now let's begin.
Below here is the story called "Matty remembers Pop in his own words". I wrote it in I think August 2009. Here it is.

I remember my grandfather who I loved to call pop. When pop would come and visit me I would run to the door and say "Hello, I'm glad you came". I would show him my Lego City and my Domino Chain. Sometimes I would have my cars lined up like a parking lot in the living room and mom would always say "Matthew please put your cars away now". Pop would then say "I'll help him put them away". Pop would then help me build my lego towers so they looked like the buildings he used to work on.

I remember when pop would tell me all the buildings he worked on. He worked on the WTC in the early 1970's and he also worked on the Verrazano Bridge in the early 1960's when my dad was a baby. I always enjoyed when pop would drive us into New Jersey and we would cross over the bridge. I was amazed that he worked so high up and was not even afraid. I used to see all the pictures Pop showed me of him working on the bridge and other construction sites. I always enjoyed sitting down with him and looking at the pictures. He looked so young in those pictures and my dad was held by his mom wearing his diapers still. I thought that the pictures of dad's mom were beautiful. It's nice seeing pictures of my dad when he was a little boy.

After we were done with our buildings Pop helped me move them to a safer place and he would help me put my cars away like my mom said to.

Pop would always sit next to me on the couch and we would watch SpongeBob SquarePants and I think after a while Pop would get a little crazy hearing that song all the time. Then I would let him turn the channel. I would watch The Animal Planet Channel which we both liked to watch. It was getting time when I had to go to bed and pop would have to leave so we would say goodbye and tell him "Thank you for making my day" and give him a hug. This is what I remember about my pop and I will never forget that.

I miss him and I always remember him through all the pictures we used to look at together and I tell my dad that pop is still here with us and he is happy. The End.

Now that was my story. You might know that this story is the same as the one on the blog, I mean not like the bloody nose story which was scary. It also sounds like it is helped by dad because it is. I wrote it on Friday, August 28, 2009. You know I put "the end" at the end but you know it's not over, there's more to come so get ready. I have one more story to show you.

I have so many memories of Pop. I would always enjoy seeing Pop when he would stop by and spend time with me and take me for rides in his car. Pop was not only my grandfather but he was a special friend who would talk and listen to me. Pop took great joy in seeing me smile and playing games with me like cracking the egg on my head with his hands and making up words like eleventeen or twelveteen. He was like a big kid and he made me laugh. Pop would also make up jokes for me which would also make me laugh.

I would always treasure the times I got to spend with Pop and was sad when he would have to leave and I would give him a big hug and say goodbye or see you soon again.

During the holidays and birthdays Pop would always give me a special gift and money for my college fund. He would always say to listen to your mom and dad and be a good boy. Pop would always ask how was your day at school and if I did well I would get a 10 dollar bill for my bank.

The things I remember about Pop is that we would sometimes go to his apartment to visit him and I loved to visit Pop and play for a little while at his apartment and enjoy seeing my dad talk with Pop. We did not want Pop to feel all alone and felt good to spend time with him. We always enjoyed seeing his pictures on the wall and all his models. He was very talented and taught me about drawing and patience. He would sometimes take us to Dunkin' Donuts to get some donuts or bagels and hot chocolate. Those were fun times.

Now that was the story of what I remember about Pop. I copied as much as I knew about in dad's blog and now here it is on mine. How was it? Did you like it? Are you sad for him? And if you read the story "Explaning to Matthew about Pop" on my dad's blog, then you will know that I didn't put the sad part in this story. Do you know why? That is because I didn't want to put it on this story. So is that okay? And if you wanted to read it, just go to my dad's blog and see it on the story title. Now I've got something to tell you. If you know someone who is not here anymore and has been gone for a short time, then write something that you think will make them feel better and in memory forever just like I did. And last, I would like to tell you that I have learned a lesson about my Pop, "It doesn't matter if they're gone, what matters is how we care and remember them right". Thank You. The End.

She was cooking the turkey for dinner. Soon my dad woke up and I said to him "Happy Thanksgiving!" and even dad was surprised. He went on the computer to go to his Facebook page. He was chatting with his high school friend Meryl. I saw what he was doing and I wanted to talk to her too and ask her if she read my blog and to have a Happy Thanksgiving. I chatted with her and told her "Happy Thanksgiving!" and she said the same thing back to me but she said "Happy Turkey Day". I asked her if she read my blog and she did. I asked if she made any comments but she didn't. Then I told her I was watching Home Alone on Demand because we have IO Digital Cable and she told me it is usually on at this time of year. Dad told me to ask her if she ever saw that movie before and she said she did once or twice. Then we said goodbye and watched the movie. A little while later, mom called up about the turkey. She told me to press the "on" button and to set it to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. I finished up my breakfast and after it I was full. After the movie was over I wanted to see another one but I didn't want dad to waste money so I went upstairs to see my movies and I watched a Garfield cartoon DVD. Dad wanted to take me to the bakery to get a cake, some cookies, and cupcakes. Before we could go we had to go to the bank to get some money, then we could go to Dortoni's to get the cake. So we went home but dad almost forgot to go to the post office to mail a letter so off we went. When we got there dad helped me put the letter in the mailbox. So then we went home. When we got home mom was there and I watched the turkey cook and mom cooked mashed potatoes, stuffing, soybeans, and spinach. Mom put yams in the oven and put marshmallows in it. At dinnertime, we prayed to the pilgrims and thanked them for delicious food and said what we were thankful. We ate and we had a delicious meal. I ate 3 helpings of mashed potatoes. Like I told you earlier, I don't like turkey so that was about the only thing I ate. I was too full to eat macaroni and cheese so I took a break. When we were done eating I helped my dad write a story on his hub. I helped him choose the pictures, videos, links and Amazon links. After that, we ate cake and I ate my canoli. I watched Monsters, Inc. on TV and after the movie I went to my room and went to bed and fell asleep.

Now that was my story. How did you like it? And what did you do this Thanksgiving? Was it fun? Tell me. Thank You.

I did lots of things and I got to spend it with my dad before he left. I was so lucky because he took the video of me going trick-or-treating on his video camera. I had a good time this year. Now I will tell you what I did this Halloween. We didn't go pumpkin picking this year though, but that was okay.

On Halloween morning I woke up and got out of bed. Then I ran down the stairs and went into my grandma's room saying "Happy Halloween!" to her. I saw the candy and I knew I wasn't supposed to eat it until later. We couldn't find the candy bowls to put the bags of candy in so we had to put it in a basket. I started to get a piece of paper and pencil to count how many kids came to the house. I put on my astronaut costume. No kids came to the house until at least 2 PM because it was on a Sunday. It was a nice sunny day that day, perfect weather to go trick-or-treating. A few kids came after that but then we didn't get any more kids. I knew they would not come because they were busy giving out the candy. I didn't get upset because I knew that someone would come soon and if they saw me upset or taking my costume off like last year, they would be sad. About an hour later more kids came and we were still counting kids. Dad asked if I wanted to go trick-or-treating yet but I didn't want to go yet because I thought it was a little early to go. Then dad said if I go later, then it would be too dark and they will run out of candy. So we went trick-or-treating. Dad took the video and we got to the first house. I said the magic words, you know what they are "trick-or-treat". I took some candy but not a lot. Then we went to some more houses down the block. We went around the block but I wasn't ready to go home yet because I didn't have enough candy. But dad said like always "you never have enough" but really I do. I understand what my parents are trying to tell me. Yeah, yeah just always "don't get too much candy blah blah blah and all that other stuff". I decided to go to my own house just for fun. We continued going trick-or-treating and I was getting a good amount of candy and going to a good amount of houses. On one of the houses I met one of my old teachers. She said feeling surprised "hi Matt, I miss you, how are you". I was surprised too and I was a little scared. On one of the houses I thought of a joke as of my astronaut costume "I guess I just landed on planet candy". Dad told me that my joke was really funny. He said "good one Matty". It sure was a good one since it was Halloween. Soon I was getting enough candy and I was ready to go home. We went home but at one of the neighbors' houses, there was a dog barking at me. I got a little scared. The man gave me some candy and we went home. When we got home, grandma told me that there were 4 kids that came while we were gone. I showed grandma my bag and she told me that she saw someone that looked like me. I told her that it was me. Grandma was so surprised. Then dad told me that we were going to the office to fax some copies of my dad's work. Then we went to the House of Spain (a restaurant where one of my dad's friends work) to do the bank thing. Then we went to my dad's other friend's house to get more candy. After that, we went to get pizza. Then we went home. When we got home, I asked grandma how many kids came while we were gone again. Grandma said that 2 kids came while we left again. Then I found out that 32 kids came this year on Halloween. Last year 51 kids came. Can you believe that? Then I went up to bed and dreamed of being a pumpkin. I had a very fun Halloween this year! I hope next year will be even more fun.
Oh no!

Oh no! I feel so sad to say goodbye to my dad. I know it rhymes but please, that is a childish expression. I get along with friends and I once met a girl in my school. She went to Mrs. Monteiro's office and she was crying because her grandmother was going to Canada. I told her it was okay because my dad would be going to China, which is further away from Canada and I felt the same way she did. She was happy again and thanked me for cheering her up. She walked away smiling.

So since my dad is leaving today at 1 o' clock this afternoon, I am writing this story to cheer up kids or adults that a member of their family is leaving to go far away. It's the same with me. I feel like I want to cry because I will miss my dad so much and I love him so much too. I sure wish he had another week to spend with me but he will be gone for about a week. I may start crying at start, but it will end happily. I know my dad very well and he writes a good blog with stories about me. I feel happy but always sad to say goodbye to him because he is very special to me and I love him so very much.

If one of the people you know are leaving to go far away, then just remember that they will always be there in your heart. Thank You.

To dad:

I will miss you so very much and will never forget you! I love you!
And I have to tell you something. I just had a bloody nose today. I have written a story once on my father's blog, "A Father's Love, My Son and Autism". It was the same title I chose for this story. It told all about how I got the bloody nose at the mall by running around so much. It sounds a little scary, but listen to it till the end and then it will get much better. And also, I will add parts of another story in my dad's blog. First, you will hear the story I made that dad helped me with. Then, you will hear an old story my dad made. Now let's begin.

Below here is the story I made a long time ago. It happened in I think February 2004. Here it is.

It all started in early 2004 when we lived in 47 Raspberry Lane in Levittown, New York. We were at the Sunrise Mall buying some clothes for school. About 10 minutes later Matty got a bump by running around the mall. Soon his nose started to bleed and we were scared. We went to the food court and it was bleeding a lot and we didn't know what to do. It was bleeding all over the floor. Even the shirt Matty was wearing was all covered in blood. We were very scared like crazy. The janitor mopped up the floor and cleaned it. Matthew was crying and so was Maria, she said "Help Help". We didn't know what to do still. So someone called the emergency. About five minutes later the ambulance came and took Matty and mommy inside. We hoped he would be ok. We went to Brunswick hospital that eventually closed down sometime in 2006. The blood stopped anyway. We were waiting in the hospital for like almost 2 hours. He got a little bored in there so we left at like 10 pm. The nurses were very nice to us and calmed Matty down and stopped his crying. We were glad that he was ok and because the blood stopped. Now it was time to go home and get some shut eye. It was like a nightmare but now it's over. At home Matty went to bed and thanked us for helping to stop the bleeding at the mall and hospital. He said good night and fell asleep. The End.

Now that was the story of how I got the bloody nose at the mall. Dad helped me write it on his blog. Do you know why it was on his blog instead of on mine? That is because I didn't have a blog back then so I had to write it on my dad's blog. I wrote it on Thursday, August 27, 2009. I was still asking my dad if I could have a blog. I was almost ready for it and I was just starting because before I had the blog I helped my dad with writing the stories and typing them up. He helped me with some spelling errors of the story and now I did it all by myself. You might have heard that I said Matty instead of I. That is because I wanted to copy the original story and not including the ending part where I write my name. No silly, I will include that at the end of this story because I have one more story to show you.

Now below here is the story my dad made himself on the same date of the one I told before. Here it is.

Dad was once deciding since I wanted to write a blog, he could make me one and I could write all the stories and my dad would help me. He said that he knew I like to write in my journal but now, like I told you in my first post called "Introduction", this is my new journal where I can express all about myself, how I feel, what I like to do, where I like to go, what I did in the past, present, and what I will do in the future. He said that it was a big incident that happened over 5 years ago but now a year has passed so it happened over 6 years ago. He also said that I have a really good memory but as I told you before, I don't want too many compliments but the memory thing is still accepted to me. Dad said I was running around in the mall like I always used to. He said they tried to get me to slow down but I probably bumped into a little one of those poster-like things that show a map of the mall and what part of it we were in. My parents were going to the food court and when they found me I was in big trouble. They saw that my nose was bleeding. They grabbed as many tissues as they could. My nose was completely covered in blood and my parents were scared. I was wearing a white t-shirt that was completely soaked in blood. My mom, dad and grandma could not control the bleeding. My mom screamed "Please Help Us!" and my grandmother was praying to god, hoping I would be okay. She tried her best to stop the bleeding. A good sanitarian asked if we had called 911 but we didn't. She called them to get an ambulance to come over to the mall because my nose was bleeding. She stayed by our side until the paramedics came. She was very nice to us. The paramedics came and tried to stop the bleeding but it didn't stop. So they carefully put me on the stretcher to make sure the blood flow would not leak back. It didn't work so they transported me, my parents, and my grandmother to the Brunswick Hospital and my dad followed them behind. The nurses immediately changed my shirt and washed me down and cauterized my nose to stop the bleeding and calm me and my mom down. It was a really scary moment but when the bleeding stopped and I stopped crying my parents and grandma felt much better. My dad signed all the paperwork and gave me a lollipop. The nurses there told me how brave and good I was there. After 2 hours there I got bored but I was very patient. I couldn't wait to go home and the nurses told me not to run around anymore because that could cause even further bleeding. My parents spoke to me about that and I promised. Now I don't run around or get any nosebleeds at the mall anymore all thanks to the nurses and my mom and dad and even grandma too. Then my dad was planning to launch the blog I have now and I was so excited. And that ends me copying some parts of one of my dad's old stories from August 2009.

Now that was the story I copied from my dad's blog. How did you like it? Was it scary? Did it start scary and get better? And also, did you realize that in that one I put I instead of Matty? That is because my dad wrote this all by himself but if I helped him with a little of it, then I would've put Matty instead of I. It sounds a little topsy-turvy from my story to dad's story but as over a year passed by, I did both. And did you know that I also put Matty instead of I on the older one on my dad's blog? It's true. If you don't believe it, then just go to my dad's blog, "A Father's Love, My Son and Autism" and I will give you proof. Now those are all the stories I can tell you about from the bloody nose incident. And if you read the last paragraph carefully, then you will see that I didn't put "the end" yet. But wait, I will put it after the next paragraph is over. So read it carefully like I told you about before in the last paragraph.

As all those 6 years have passed by, I have learned a very important lesson a few years ago. "Do not run around in places like the mall, otherwise you will get a bloody nose just like I did". So please remember that, especially if you know that already because it is very important, even if you're as curious as me and you're at a mall like Westfield (Sunrise) Mall. That was the mall I went to when I had the bloody nose. You may realize that because it is close to the Brunswick Hospital. It is in Amityville, New York (which is in Long Island). You may know that because you may know where I live from one of my older posts. And don't forget, Brunswick Hospital closed down sometime in 2006, like I told you before. So if you live near me and you want to find it, just remember that because you will not find it. And don't go too fast while you drive or you will bump your nose if you don't watch where you're going and you're nose may start to bleed like mine did. So be a lot more careful wherever you go and remember to look out so you don't get a bloody nose. Thank You. The End.

It seems that Halloween is like a kids holiday that most kids celebrate for going trick-or-treating and collecting lots and lots of candy. I feel that it is my 2nd favorite holiday of the year. Before it starts, the kids' parents go shopping to get their kids costumes and to buy lots of candy and sometimes they take their kids to select the candy and costumes they want to pick.

I like Halloween a lot because it is a really fun holiday! I always like to help my dad pick out the candy and he will help me select my costume.

They are very happy going to houses and getting as many candy as possible. Some kids like to go trick-or-treating at their own house and that just makes me want to laugh. I think it is a lot of fun to go trick-or-treating. Sometimes people get pumpkins at the local pumpkin patch to turn them into jack-o-lanterns. First, they get a few pumpkins. Second, get a carving knife. Third, cut out the eyes and nose as triangles. Fourth, cut the mouth out. Fifth, you have made your jack-o-lantern.

I heard that if some kids were allergic to candy, those poor kids would have to not go trick-or-treating. Dad asked me if I knew what it would be like if I were allergic to candy. I always think it would be too bad. I am so lucky that I am not allergic to candy.

It seems Halloween passes by so quickly just like the years. First, it starts to be Halloween. Then, in a snap, Halloween is over. Just like I told you in the older post about how I will miss the years and how they are so fast like a fast car on an interstate. After Halloween it will be Thanksgiving. And now when Halloween comes, I will help count how many kids came by and if I had fun, then I will write about it in my blog.

As you see, you know how much I love Halloween. So if you have a fun Halloween, tell me. Thank You.
For me writing is a way to say things that's hard for me to speak in front of others. When I write I can think and I can concintrate more on what I like to write about. Writing is sometimes hard too because you need to have ideas and a way with expressing it with the right words. It takes time to write naturally and sometimes it seems harder writing when you are not sure exactly what to write.

When I have an idea and something I like, that is when I enjoy writing. My whole point in writing is to share my ideas and vision and express with the words that I feel give it my personal touch. Sometimes I have so many ideas in my head that it's hard to know exactly which one to work with. If I write about something I did with my family, then it seems easier because I am relating something that actally happened like going to the movies or the beach. I like this kind of writing because I am expressing fun things I did with mom and dad and grandma. I would also like to write about my experiences at camp and playing with the other kids because I'm a kid and I want to write about the friends I meet and the fun things I did at camp. If you read my blog when I went to Camp Kehilla, you would see how much I enjoyed it. I miss the camp and could not go this past summer since my family's on a budget. Mom and Dad promised though that I would go to a Summer program in school with fun activities and kids my age. They are trying to help me in my development.

I like to write about my family life and sometimes wished I had a brother or sister to grow up with. Mom and Dad really love me and they always say how much they love me and I say back "you tell me that evrey day". LOL. When mom kisses me, I say "ewww, gross". I even say the same thing when my daddy kisses me. This past weekend was a really fun weekend because I went to Sunken Meadow State Park with mommy and grandma and then at night I went to Wal-Mart to by halloween candy and my astronaut costume and then after that we went to see Secretariat in the movies at Loews in Levittown. After the movie we went to Wendy's to get a late dinner and then we went home and dad gave me my medicine after I ate my chicken nuggets and french fries. After my medication I kissed mom goodnight and dad tucked me into my bed and promised me we would go trick-or-treating for Halloween which was Sunday. Halloween was a lot of fun giving out all the candy to all the kids. I counted the amount of kids that came to the house and how many bags of candy we had left. We needed to make sure we had enough and it turned out that we had more than enough as less kids came this year than last year.Edward ianniellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13947204647415076556noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9085360845316270888.post-17655816900575592562010-10-28T18:20:00.000-07:002010-10-29T19:23:53.077-07:00Just use your imagination

It seems that all of us use our imagination for some reason. I do too and since my last posts about pop, I have told you that I imagine that my grandpa is still alive. Even if one of your best friends aren't here anymore, you can always still imagine that they're still here. I do too and that's all you need to make your life so much better.

Sometimes at night when I am trying to sleep, I think back to times when I was just a little kid and how things seemed so much more simpler. I remember when mom would read my favorite Dr. Seuss books like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. Those were good books and I would always have a smile and a kiss for my mom because I know how much she loves me. Dad would always come up too to give me a good night kiss and tuck me in the bed after mom kissed me too.

I am still a young kid and still mom still reads to me sometimes which brings me back to that time. I am old enough to read myself to sleep. Reading is a lot of fun because you can read many types of books and they all have different stories and some are very magical as they take you on a journey. My favorite book series is The Magic Tree House and I have read about 6 or 7 of the books. My favorite book is the one about the dinosaurs. It's cool because it takes you back in time to the prehistoric age.

Grandpa sometimes came over to read stories and play legos with me. Sometimes pop would pretend to crack an egg on my head and rub his hands. I would also show pop my domino chain which I would start on one side of the room and end on the other side and pop would always say that there is no limit of how far you can go. He would always tell me that I could do anything in my life if I set my mind to it. He also said that the more you see, the more you can imagine. And when you can imagine, you also can dream and when you dream, you feel happy.

As the time has gone by and I no longer see my pop, I feel he's in a good place and I speak to him in my prayers. I also hold my daddy's hands and I always tell him to always remember your dad. In fact, we had just celebrated pop's birthday and I asked dad to get a birthday cake as a remembrance of him and we even sang happy birthday to pop and I gave my daddy a hug and I said "it will be okay, pop is in a good place with grandma" and daddy hugged me back and said "thank you". I like to imagine happy things and if I see something I don't like, I try to think of a good thing because I want to smile instead of crying. I enjoy having good times with mommy and daddy and I enjoy going to fun places. We have went to Great Adventure, Hershey Park, Dorney Park, Adventureland, and Fun Zone. I think it is so much fun to go places you want to go. But remember that you can do just about anything or be anyone you want because that is what you like.

There are a few reasons why I pretend that Pop is still alive. First of all, I don't like to talk about deaths or injuries because they are very hurtful to my heart and make me cry. Second, I think those words are very harmful and bad language. That's why sometimes I say it is a bad word. I know you don't want to hear the story either, but let's just start simple, not sadly.

I don't like to watch the news because most of the time they say that either someone died or got hurt. And I don't like cemeteries because they are so sad to explain about. I don't like to hear when my dad says that he misses his father because he is always there in his heart. Also, I still believe that he is still alive for real and in my heart. I seem to wonder why my dad doesn't have belief in his heart. It must probably be an adult's secret that has never been revealed to kids. I don't know why and I sure hope he gets into his mind. I feel very sad so much these days because life is just getting worse each year. I sure hope the world improves before 2020 or 2100.

There are many more other reasons why I pretend that my grandpa (Pop) is still here. But let's just say that if he were for real, I'd be much more happier than usual. Isn't that right? If so, I bet you think the same thing I do, and even if you were my dad, then you'd understand. So please have just a little beliefs in your heart.

To dad:

I know he is not here anymore, but please, I just want you to make me happy, because you are my father and I love you so very much. Thank You.
If he were still here today, he would be 75 years old! I know that because I just subtracted from 2010 minus the year he was born. I am so very happy for him today but I feel very sad about what happened to him over a year ago. To me I think he is still alive today but I know he's really not. I feel very sad and I miss him so very much. I am writing this story because I love my grandpa so much.

Today on my grandpa's birthday, Dad bought us some cake to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. We pretended he was still alive. The cake was good! We sang happy birthday to Pop and he blew out the candles and made his 75th wish just for fun. We had a good time and I pretended that Pop was here.

Even though Pop is not here anymore I pretend he is because I care for him very much and always will. He will always be in mine, Dad's, Mom's, Grandma's, my fake brother SpongeBob's, and even your heart.
I like watching cartoons on Cartoon Network. I used to like watching cartoons on Nickelodeon but as time went by, the cartoons on Nickelodeon got worse than ever. I still like Cartoon Network because their cartoons are much better than Nickelodeon's current cartoons. My favorite cartoons are SpongeBob SquarePants, The Garfield Show, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo!, Tom & Jerry, etc. kids cartoons. I know a few of them are not on anymore, but I have IO cable. That's why a few of them not on regular cable are on the list. And I also like Saturday morning cartoons too. That is a reason why I like Saturday.

My favorite cartoons on Nickelodeon are SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, The Penguins of Madagascar, and Rugrats. I know a couple of them are not on anymore, but I still liked watching it before.
My favorite cartoons on Cartoon Network are The Garfield Show, Scooby-Doo!, The Flintstones, and a few others. Some of them might not be on anymore but I still liked them.

My favorite cartoons on Disney Channel are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, House of Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Recess, Donald Duck, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Dave the Barbarian, and Aladdin: The Series. Some of them are not on anymore but one of them is still on.

As the years pass by we may move on to extremely violent cartoons like The Simpsons and Family Guy but I will just stay the way I am as long as possible. I love those cartoons and always will. I may change when I grow up but I will never ever outgrow those cartoons because they will be in my mind forever. The End.
We had a fun time at her 70th birthday party at Friendly's. We threw grandma 2 surprises. The first one was at a restaurant in Manhasset called Benihana. The second one was at the Levittown Friendly's restaurant. Now I will tell you about what we did there.

On Saturday, October 9th, we went to Benihana to surprise grandma. After we took grandma to church, mom had a secret to tell me. She told me not to tell this to grandma. She said "we will be taking Grandma to Benihana for her early birthday party". When it was time to go, grandma asked where we were going and I told her it was a surprise. When we got to the restaurant, grandma was so surprised because they prepared 2 long tables. We had a late lunch there and after that, we ate cake. I didn't really eat anything there because they didn't really have anything that I liked there. But the best part was that we got to see the chef cook the food on the long table. It was very cool! Then we got grandma her cake. Dad was late for the party, so he missed some parts of the party. We sang happy birthday to grandma and she made her 70th wish. I teased to her "now you have to make 69 more wishes because you are 70 years old and that means 70 wishes". Grandma's wish was for good health and many more years to come. After that we took a few pictures of us standing in the restaurant and standing outside of the restaurant. Then the ladies went to the Crazy Donkey restaurant on Route 110. I did not want to be with the girls, so I took a little ride with dad.

Autumn) starts to come I feel a little happy but sometimes a little sad because I might miss Summer and swimming in the pool. But now we have to go back to school and learn more about the world around us. When school starts every September I always try my best to be on my best behavior like my mom and dad always tell me to. In my feelings I think that Fall is my 3rd favorite season out of all 4 of them.

The things I like about Fall are when I can see the leaves change colors. It is so amazing when you can watch the leaves change colors and fall off of the trees. Another thing I like is when I can jump in the pile of leaves for fun. Sometimes I like to help my parents rake the yard. It is so much fun to help my parents but still of course it is a lot of work. On the last day of October I like to go trick-or-treating on Halloween, help sort the candy, help count how many kids come to the house, and collect lots and lots of candy. On Columbus Day if school is cancelled, I like to do whatever I want. On Thanksgiving, I help mom out in the kitchen and setting up the tables. Those are all the things I like about Fall.

The things I don't like about Fall are when the weather gets colder. But at least it's much better than Winter weather. Another thing I don't like is that Summer is over and we have to go back to school. But I know I have to so I can get my education. I also don't like when Fall ends. Those are all the things I don't like about Fall.

After a while, Fall becomes Winter and then snow starts to come. It is sometimes sad to say goodbye to Fall, but Winter is still a good season, even though it is my least favorite. All the seasons go by so fast, but not too fast, because they will be in your memory forever, even Fall. That's why I write a story about Fall, because I like it. And don't worry, we will never forget Fall because we love it so much. Thank you Fall!
If I liked it a little bit, I would only see it once. Sometimes I see movies about 2 or 3 times. Sometimes I missed a movie that I would have liked and if it wasn't playing in the theatres anymore, I would like to get it on DVD or Blue-ray because I missed it.

I like going to the movies. My favorite places to see a movie are at the Levittown Loews, Broadway Multiplex Theatre, Farmingdale Multiplex Theatre and Westbury Loews. My favorite movies to see are Pixar movies, Disney movies and Dreamworks Animation movies. I only like to see children's movies. The only ratings of children's movies that I like to see are rated G and PG movies. If I like it, I like to get it on DVD or Blue-ray. Sometimes I like to get classic children's movies to complete my collection. Sometimes if I only have that kind of movie on VHS, I might like to get it on DVD because I hear that videos are no longer sold in stores. If I like that movie and I only have it on VHS, that is why I get it on DVD. If I saw that movie in the theatre and I didn't like it that much, I might not buy that movie when it comes out on DVD.

Everyone likes seeing movies. Right? I do too and when I grow up and I have kids, I would like to have a really big collection of movies and show them to my kids and teach them how they work. I will also tell them about videotapes. Do you know what I will do to all of those videos? I will keep them in display in my house in a big box of videos. And also, that's right, when I'm grown up, I will teach them about display and yes, how people used to insert the video.

As we grow up, we all change and may start to like violent movies and even ones with bad words. And we may also outgrow children's movies but I will not. I may also start to like those kind of movies but the thing I don't like is the bad words. When I get older, I will not, no matter what, ever outgrow children's movies because they are much safer and funny and best of all, happy. And classic movies will be in my heart forever and ever because they also make us happy. And last, I will never outgrow classic movies. They make me happy and you too. The End.
I will announce the road trips that I have been on this summer.

The following things below are the places I have been to this summer. First, I have gone to Jones Beach only once with my dad, my grandma, and my fake brother SpongeBob. We went there in the end of May. I know that May is not part of summer, but we just did it to pretend that it was early summer. Next, I went for a ride with dad and my fake brother on Father's Day. After that, we went to the Robert Moses Beach in Suffolk County on July 3rd. That was the first time out of two times that we went to that same beach. That time we forgot to bring our stuff. We took a video of it on my dad's YouTube channel name called ediann. The second time we went there it was the fourth of July. We remembered to bring our stuff that time. We had a fun time going there. Another place we have went to was to Riverhead. We went so far that I wanted to go home. Dad didn't listen but I was upset and tired from riding in the car so I fell asleep. We also went to Dorothy's house. Another place we went to was the Newbridge Pool to cool down in the water. Dad told me that it was the pool he used to go to when he was a kid. When we were there and we saw my dad jump over the diving board and I was amazed, he told me that when he was about a teenager he tried to dive over the diving board and he got very hurt that there was blood in the water and he had to be taken to the hospital. I felt very sorry for him just like when he told me years ago that he was riding on his bike and then he fell off his bike and he was bleeding a lot. Then he had to be rushed to the hospital and they found out that he had a scar. He had broken bones and as the years passed by, it got so much better. And don't forget that we went to the Splish Splash water park in Riverhead. We had a lot of fun there and I found out that it was my last time in the water for the Summer. We also went to New Jersey to go to the Willowbrook Mall to get fruit slices. Before we got there we passed the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. That was the bridge that my grandfather helped work on. The last place we went to this summer was Dorney Park to go on some rides. We had a lot of fun going on road trips with my Dad this summer.

There are many places you can go to or visit someday. The best part is that if you want to have a memory of it, you have to make a video of it on your camera and post it on YouTube. If you go to a place you want to go to, you can. Thank you.
I have written many stories and now this is the moment I have been looking forward to for 365 days now. I have started writing last year on Monday, August 31, 2009 starting with my very first post called "Introduction". I am so happy because I have celebrated a year of writing stories about myself. I think it is good to write about yourself because it talks about how you feel when something happens to you or anything else.

My very first post had described who I am, what I like and what I don't like, that I like my name short and simple, what makes me happy, where I like to go, and many other things about me. I have posted other stories after that like "A story I wrote about The Ketteler family in my black and white book, How I started to like rolls of paper and drawing, My fun vacation to Pennsylvania, All about school at Salk and memories of Summit Lane, How I liked maps in the past, My summer at Camp Kehilla, Why I like movies and TV shows, Why I like numbers and Memories of what I did in the summer time". After those posts I posted another story because dad wanted his blog to go up to a thousand posts. So I had an idea to write a story about what it might be like if I had 1,000 stories on my blog. I decided to write a story called "If I had 1,000 stories on my blog page". Do you remember me talking about what it would be like having 1,000 stories on your blog in that story? Next I posted even more stories like "Why I like cars and how I played with my toy cars, Why I like Halloween, Playing with my toys legos and games, All about the fun birthday party on October 14th, TV shows TV channels and movies I'm making, The fun day at Dorothy's Halloween party, The fun time seeing the Michael Jackson movie. The fun time going trick-or-treating on Halloween, What I do when I'm helping others, Memories of Pop and Lolo Beto, and My story about when I had Autism and Seizures". If you have ever heard of it or read about it before, you probably know what it might be about. That's right. I am also autistic and if you read my dad's blog "A Father's Love, My Son and Autism". It was about proper events about what have happened to me in the past that make children like me autistic. I have also posted a lot more stories about my emotions, things I like, things I don't like, where we like to go and where we have went in the past, what I like and don't like to do, and many other things about me.

Since I have been celebrating one year of writing I am happy because I like writing so much. Now my blog is a year old and I am so very happy about that. It has been a year old since the second I have posted this story. If you have a blog like me and if you view the very first post that you ever wrote, memorize the date and when it comes, write a story about how you feel about it. Thank You!
I think that Summer is my most favorite season of the year.
I like to go to camp sometimes but this year I couldn't go because my dad didn't have money to send me but if he did I would still go. I like to go to the beach so I can cool down in the water, build sand castles and dig holes in the sand. About Summer I always say "no school and go in the pool". That is my saying for Summer. I like to play ball outside. I like to ride my bike around the block sometimes. I like to go to the park with Mom and go down the slide and on the swing. The last thing I like about Summer is that I can get ice cream at the ice cream truck.

The only thing that I don't like about Summer is the end of it.

As Summer becomes Fall I feel sad because Spring is my most favorite season out of all 4 of them. But I will always remember it because we have videos on our YouTube channel where we went to the beach and driving to the beach. Then school starts to come and I feel very sad but a little happy because I like Summer so much. But don't worry because I will never forget the memories of every Summer. We will never forget Summer because it is one of the most funnest seasons of the year.
I also liked to look at the road atlas that my mother had. When I was about 9 or 10 I started copying a map of Levittown from the Internet. I also looked at a list of all the county routes in Nassau and Suffolk county. I even got to see all of the state routes in New York. I made a list of all of them on Microsoft Word and I put highway sign pictures on them. I also wanted to go to all the roads on the list. I used to be interested in that and I still am. A few days ago I printed out the county route guides of Nassau and Suffolk. In the future I will print out the list of all the state routes in New York.

Today I like making lists of things and writing long stories more often. I also like to copy the Constitution of the United States and put it on Microsoft Word. I used to think maps were fun and I still do.

Matty IannielliEdward ianniellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13947204647415076556noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9085360845316270888.post-58090136735379432982010-03-22T15:53:00.000-07:002010-09-18T12:44:28.054-07:00All about little kid shows and some I used to watch
I remember when I was a little kid I used to watch little kid shows on Playhouse Disney, Nick Jr, PBS Kids, and some other little kid morning programs. The shows I remember watching most were Barney, Sesame Street, The Wiggles, Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues, Teletubbies, Reading Rainbow, and many other little kid shows. I started watching those shows ever since I was about 1 or 2. I stopped watching those kind of shows when I was around 6 or 7. Sometimes I say I still want to be a little kid one more time. When I was around 7-10 I made fun of all those shows and teased them. I think I miss being a 4 year old.

The shows I remember watching on Playhouse Disney were very good. I think I want the old Playhouse Disney shows back. These are the shows I remember watching on Playhouse Disney when I was little. I remember watching Bear in the Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Olie, Higglytown Heroes, Stanley, Jojo's Circus, Shanna's Show, Johnny and the Sprites, The Koala Brothers, Charlie & Lola, The Wiggles, Out of the Box, Book of Pooh, Go Baby, and Handy Manny. Those are all the shows I remember watching. The ones I still like are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and My Friends Tigger & Pooh.

The shows I remember watching on PBS Kids were very good. I think I want the old PBS Kids shows back. These are the shows I remember watching on PBS Kids when I was little. I remember watching Barney & Friends, Sesame Street, The Magic School Bus, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Berenstain Bears, Bob the Builder, Between the Lions, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Arthur, Caillou, Curious George, Cyberchase, Dragon Tales, It's A Big Big World, Maya & Miguel, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, Teletubbies, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Zoom. Those are all the shows I remember watching. I still like a few of those shows.

The shows I remember watching on Nick Jr were very good. I think I want the old Nick Jr shows back. These are the shows I remember watching on Nick Jr when I was little. I remember watching Backyardigans, Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Franklin, Go Diego Go, and Little Bill. Those are all the shows I remember watching. I still like a few of those shows.

As time goes by we start to move on to new shows and things change. Sometimes a show is not on anymore but we all still remember the memories of watching all of those shows. They are not just remembered in your mind, but in your heart too. I will never forget those shows but I will always remember the good times of the old days. We will never forget those old shows. We all love them.
When I was around 4 and 5 years old I loved to organize stuff and put them in order. I like to organize baseball cards just like what I said in my earlier post "Why I like Numbers". I like to put the movies on the movie shelf in alphabetical order. I also like to organize show names on either Playhouse Disney or Nick Jr and list them in alphabetical order. I also like to list the episodes of a show in the order of the dates they aired on TV. To me I think making lists of things and organizing stuff is cool and I feel that I am interested in it a lot. Another thing I like is helping my grandmother with the shopping list if we run out of food. I also like to look at lists of things on the Internet. I think it is good.

Since I grow up I am still interested in organizing things and making lists. I have been doing that probably since I was about 3. By the time I get older I may change but I may still like making lists and organizing anything. I still like doing it in the present though but I will always remember it.
