If I had 1,000 stories on my blog page

When I get older and I get 1,000 stories on my blog page I think my little boy will be so happy and my parents will feel happy for me. It will feel like I made a story on my blog for every day on my page. If I have a kid when I'm older I will let them help me with a blog and tell them what my father was telling me when I wanted a blog. After I do my last blog ever it will be like a party for making the last story on my Blog Spot page. I might invite all of my local friends in the house, even my father. If my father makes it up to 1,000 stories I will be so happy for him just like if he will be happy for me. Can you imagine making one story every day of the week? It will be more than 5,000 pages in the book if it was only one big giant book. Now that dad has almost 100 stories on his blog I am so happy for him. When I get up to 200 or 500 stories I will be happy for myself and this is why. When I have 200 stories on my blog my mind will say good job and keep going for your father. If I have 500 stories on my blog my mind will say good job, you're halfway there because that is where I am up to. When I get up to 100 stories on my Blog Spot page I will be happy and my dad will be happy too. I feel happy that dad is almost at his 100th blog. He only has one more story to go and then he has made it to 100 stories. The last story on my blog might be about me saying goodbye on a blog and everyone signing their name in the family on the post. If I need any help with my story I will ask my father for help.

When I write, I will write about my experiences about school, my after school activities, and about my family. I will also write about some cool movies that we go see and I think I will write a story about Halloween and Christmas and Thanksgiving of course. That's the beauty of my blog which is writing about anything and everything. Thank You until the next story.

Memories of what I did in the summer time

Every last day of school when there's only a few minutes left of school I am so happy and I can't wait for school to end. I am so excited and can't wait for summer vacation. When the last day of school bell rings and it's time to say goodbye to my teachers I thank them a lot for their nice caring for me. When I arrive at the house it feels like I just jumped into a swimming pool that no one has even jumped into since last summer. I run straight to the house and scream "Mom, mom I'm home from school and no more school until September". Mom feels happy and says you're home erly today. I feel so happy and I feel like i'm dreaming of a world with summer forever. When it becomes 8:00 PM mom says it would be ok to stay up a little late but not too late. The next day I get up feeling so happy and I sometimes think about Camp Kehilla. When it is summer vacation sometimes I go to the swimming pool and take my sunblock and bathing suit and walk happily into the swimming pool. When I go to the swimming pool I stay for about more than an hour. Then I dry off on the towel and thank mom for taking me too the Levittown pool. I also go to the beach sometimes and play in the sand and build a sand castle. Sometimes I go in the water and swim to about 2-3 feet deep. Sometimes I find seashells and keep them at home. When it's summer time I also go to the park to ride my bike. I ride bike along the paths of the park and try to remember which path is the right path back to where mom is. When it is summer time I even take a ride somewhere and tell grandma about where I went today.

Why I like numbers

I often wonder why it is I like numbers and I think it is because with being able to speak the language of mathematics you can do just about anything and when you think about it the power of numbers is so much a part of our life. I can add and subtract and multiply and divide thanks to my teachers. I often wonder what the secret is to being able to multiply large numbers together. Once I went to Wikipedia.org and found out all the big numbers from zero to infinity in maybe 2007. I copied the numbers and made a list of them on a Microsoft Word document. The name of it was Numbers 1-Infinity on Word. I found out the number signs and they told me that they were called one hundred, one thousand, one million, one billion, one trillion, one quadrillion, one quintillion, and one sextillion. When I was about 6 I found out that numbers never end. When I was about 4 I loved going places and counting the house numbers on every street. I also loved counting the building numbers on Hempstead Turnpike, Sunrise Highway, Merrick Road, and even Farmingdale Road which is named Route 110 for short. After I saw the big 10 and the small 6 I saw it right near the one million. Wikipedia told me that it meant the 10 was for the zeroes and the 6 was for how many zeroes there were in the number. After that I found out that the number that had 100 zeroes in it was called google. The next number was googleplex which was the number that had google zeroes in it.

Once I was reading a book that taught you about numbers and it was about peas and how many there were. It had numbers up to one quadrillion and the biggest one was when it said that one quadrillion peas can make a mountain. I learned that number by the book all thanks to the person who made that book. I also had another number book called How much is a million? I loved that book a lot and I saw the pictures of one million kids standing up high making a very tall tower, and guessing how long it can take to count up to a million. It did not teach me about any number higher than one trillion. I loved those books a lot and I wanted to keep them forever but now I can't seem to remember where they are.

When I was a little baby I was watching a Baby Einstein video and it was teaching me numbers and I liked it. Then I started counting and I loved numbers and wondered how many numbers there are in the world. When I was 6 or 7 I wanted to find out how many seats there are in a movie theatre and how many parking spaces there are in a parking lot. When I became 8 I wanted to know how many stairs and floors there are in a building or an apartment building. I also wanted to know how many stairs there are in popcorn's house. Every time we went to popcorn's house in the past I was thinking about a stairway in an apartment house that never ended and had billions of floors. I was also thinking about how many stairs there would be in that kind of apartment house.

When I am playing with cards I sometimes wonder how many cards there are in a deck and how many baseball cards there are in a baseball card box. Sometimes I guess that there are between 700 to 800 baseball cards in that kind of box. I love looking at baseball cards and putting them in number order just to make sure if there are any missing ones. When I was a little boy I used to love to know how many channels there are on cable and I loved to use the remote to see all the channels. My favorite channels are Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Boomerang, some of HBO family, and some of Disney Channel.

My dad told me that when he was a little boy he struggled with mathematics but his kindergarten teacher and his mother sat down with him and taught him mathematics and it became his favorite subject and he owes it all to Mrs. Black Bear, his teacher from kindergarten and his mom. Now math is still his favorite subject and he always helps me when I have struggles with my math homework. Mom helps me with my other homework and dad helps me with my math and he tells me that I should do my best in there.

I used to like looking at the United States map and counting all the 50 states. I also liked counting the state quarters. At Christmas time I would love to count the number of lights on our Christmas tree. I also enjoy when my mom and dad would take me into the city to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and I would say "Wow!" I often wondered how many lights were on that Christmas tree and how many feet tall that tree was. It would take me about a week to count all the lights on that Christmas tree because I would have to climb up the tree to count all of them. I would guess that there were about 10,000 lights or more.

As I grow older I realize how important mathematics is and I will always try my best. The End.

Why I like movies and tv shows

I used to like baby shows when I was age 3-5. The baby shows that I watched were Barney, The Wiggles, Blue's Clues, Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer and many more. When I was 5 years old I thought I watched it a little too much and it was getting really annoying for me. I started to watch SpongeBob SquarePants when I was 6. By the way since there were bad words in it I didn't mind them because I thought the show was funny and my mom got upset when I watched SpongeBob SquarePants. When I turned 7 I started to like the Odd Parents show on Nickelodeon. The Odd Parents was a good show for me because it had a little less bad words. I started to watch the Jimmy show. Those were good shows and in 2009 I stopped watching the Jimmy show and The Odd Parents. At least I still like SpongeBob SquarePants. Those times were good times when I watched those shows but now I stop watching The Odd Parents. Right now my mother doesn't get upset anymore when I watch SpongeBob but she thinks it has a little too many bad words in it. Now mother bee and grandma bee watches TFC which has shows that have words you won't understand unless you know what they mean. That is the TV shows that I have watched in the past and now.

I also like movies and my favorite movies are Walt Disney movies which most of them are the movies that I like. My favorite Walt Disney movies are 101 Dalmatians, Winnie The Pooh movies, Mickey Mouse movies, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Tarzan,  Chicken Little, Enchanted and Bolt. I also like Pixar movies too. I like all the Pixar movies that Mr. Pixar ever made. I heard that the next Pixar movie is Toy Story 3. It is coming in Summer 2010. I even like Dream Works movies. My favorite Dream Works movies are Shrek, Shrek 2, Madagascar, Shrek the Third, Flushed Away, Over The Hedge and Madagascar 2. My favorite Nickelodeon movies are The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis. Those are my favorite movies. When I was 8 I wanted to collect all the Walt Disney movies that Walt Disney ever made. I like my movies. I also love television. That is why I like movies, TV shows and television.

My summer at Camp Kehilla

Back in 2005 I started camp at Camp Kehilla and I was so excited for camp. It was my first year there and it was so exciting for me. I liked camp at Camp Kehilla for the past 5 years. I sure miss camp now and I will never forget those good times I had there. When I went to camp I would get on the bus and say hello to my bus driver and bus counselor and take a seat on the bus. Before I got there I would see the other kids get picked up and get on the bus. Before I knew it I was in Suffolk County and I was almost there. By the way my camp is located on Colonial Springs Road right near Pinelawn Road, Little East Neck Road and a cemetery near those streets. When we arrived I would get off the bus and sit under the tent. Sometimes I talk with the other counselors and even go to the back. About 30 minutes later the bus to take me up the hill would come and I would get my backpack and get on the bus. I would buckle up and sit in a seat. The ride up the hill was about 5 minutes and I would get off and walk straight to the playground and say hello to my counselors and my friends and play for a little bit. When it was time to do our first activity I would put my backpack on the bench and go to the first activity. Sometimes I go to drama. I would do cool things there. Sometimes I would even go to music and see the man play the guitar. It was so cool when he sang his songs. Another special I go to would be art where I make necklaces or pictures or even things with paper. After those specials I would eat lunch and have a sandwich, a snack and a juice pouch. After lunch I would see the man play the guitar and eat the kind of bread they ate and he would sing his song. After that I would go down the hill to the swimming pool and past the other playground. I would go to the swimming pool and change into my bathing suit and get in the pool. I loved playing Dunkin' Donuts where you would swim when the counselor said Dunkin' Donuts. The funny part was when the counselor said Dunkin' Pizzas or Dunkin' Hamburgers. Swimming in there was so much fun for those 30 minutes. When it was time to get out I dried off on the towel and told my counselor how much fun it was. After the swimming pool it was time to change and get ready to play on the playground for a little bit and then it was time for snack. I was happy and we went back to the bottom of the hill and when I finished my snack I waited for the time to get to the bus. When it was time to line up for the bus I would get happy to go home and after a while I would get a little tired and sweaty from waiting for my bus to be called. When my bus was called I was happy and I got on the bus and told my bus counselor how my day went at camp. I would say it was fun and I liked it a lot. When the bus left and took the kids home I was so happy that I was going home. It was so much fun. When I got home I was happy and I told mom that I had fun.

Last time I went to camp I had a good year. I loved going on field trips. My favorite field trips were when I went to a mini golf course, Adventureland, a Bowling alley, Citi Field and the Westbury Theatre. I went to Adventureland 2 times and it was fun. Once we were going to Splish Splash and it was raining so we couldn't go. So we had it on a different day and it still was cancelled. So we went to the Atlantis aquarium. It was fun and I had a good time but I was still a little upset. Then we went to the JCC center. I played a game there and my bus took me home. When we went to Citi Field I had fun and I went to the JCC and I told my counselors that I had fun there. When we went to the Westbury Theatre we got to see Snow White and it was fun. I had fun there. Once I got to see my mom and grandma I was so happy to see them. Then I wanted to go home. The mini golf was fun when I played on all 18 holes. It was fun. Picture Day was fun too and I smiled for the camera. Bowling was fun and I took the New York Lottery Quick Draw sheet. It was too bad I didn't get a strike.

The last day of camp was a little difficult but we gave gift cards to my counselors, bus driver, bus counselor, unit head and the others. It was fun on my last day. I said goodbye to all my friends and my counselors. It was so sad saying goodbye but I had fun there. Maybe one day I'll go for the full summer. I had so much fun at Camp Kehilla. My favorite things there were swimming in the pool and going on field trips. I think camp is a lot of fun. I hope next year it is more fun. I really can't wait for next summer. It will be so much fun. I hope I like my new counselors next year. I feel a little sad that it's school time now. I will try to get used to it. And I feel sad that summer is over. The End.

P.S. Thank You Camp Kehilla!

How I liked maps in the past

When I was about 5 or 6 I found out about roads and I knew about some of the roads in the county but not all of them. I started to see a page of roads that told me information of the roads in New York. The page was called Roads in New York State and it had every road in New York. I started trying to make my page called The New York Road list. I was trying to know the information of every road in New York too. It sounded like fun. I liked it a lot and that's how I liked rolls of paper. I was drawing a picture of houses and buildings and Route 26, which was my made up highway. Another road I drew on the roll of paper was a Timber Wolf Road as Route 217 back in 2005. My Timber Wolf Road was in River Stream where my imaginary friend Frank Russet used to live. Frank used to live in 2590 Timber Wolf Road in Great Bay, River Stream. It sounded like fun when I first started. I also drew a picture of Main Street in River Stream City. Frank moved to 245 Willowood Drive in 2006. In 2006 I made a picture of River Stream Route 1. By 2007 I discovered Map quest and I went to sudden places. In 2008 I thought Map quest and maps were fun. But in 2009 I started to like it less often. Then I thought maps were a little boring. But maybe in 2010 I will stop liking maps and stop with it. I will get used to maps and like them again someday. It sounded like fun when I loved maps. It sounded like fun for me and when I did not like it as much as I used to I retired from maps. Someday I will return to maps and like it again. I thought maps were fun but now I think it doesn't sound as much fun as it used to. I just hope I like it again. The End.

All about school at Salk and memories of Summit Lane

I just started a new school on September 9th this year. Now I'm in 5th grade and in a middle school. Now I have to wake up at 6 in the morning and I will try to get used to it. My bus comes at like 7:10 AM. I have a classmate that I had in 4th grade back in Summit Lane and his name is Joe. I got scared when I saw him on the first day. I will try not to be scared anymore. I have about 6 classmates in my class and that includes me. I still don't have any girls in my class. The last time I had a girl in my class was when I was in kindergarten. I have a new teacher and her name is Ms. Butterweich. I like my new teacher a lot. It is too bad I have a new school. Sometimes I miss my old school and think about it.

I am now going to a new school and mom and dad told me that it will take a little time to get used to it but it will come and I will start to like it like I liked Summit Lane. I am also going to try to make friends and participate in the class more. I look forward to being a 5th grader and all the special projects we will do. My favorite subject is Math and I might like division some day when it gets easy for me. I like art class and I have a special art teacher named Mrs. Merolla. I started to paint a fruit bowl in art class. I like Mrs. Merolla and look forward to learning more about drawing and expressing my interests in my drawings. I have a nice gym class and I play nice things. I like my lunch class and I eat the lunch that my mom packs for me. My Lunch period is good because it breaks up the day between the classes and because I'm hungry.

I start school at about 7:45 AM. The day is a pretty long day and I have fun. My school ends at about 2:30 PM. My bus driver is Anthony. He was my bus driver at Summit Lane from 1st grade to 2nd grade and I was glad to see him on my first day of school. Maria is my new bus matron. She is also a nice lady and she helps me find a seat but I have to sit in the same seat every time I go on the bus. When I get to school my matron sees that I get off the bus and she makes sure I get in the school safely with the other kids on the bus.

My very first week of school was a short week and I am glad to be back and so are my mom and dad and they are looking forward to me doing well and I am going to do my best in the new school year.

I have a lot of memories of Summit Lane. One memory is about 1st grade when I went on a field trip in Long Beach in October 2005 and I had fun. Another memory from 1st grade was having another teacher while Mrs. McKenna was gone. Her name was Mrs. MacNamara and she was a nice teacher. Mrs. McKenna came back with two babies. Their names were Paul and Kerry. It was fun seeing them. Those were good times. A memory from 2nd grade was when I went to the Children's Museum to build blocks, play in the bubbles, go in the playhouse and go inside the minivan. It was fun. Another 2nd grade memory was when I went to see a play called A Christmas Carol at the Westbury Theatre. It was fun and funny. I remember in 3rd grade I used to play with the toys and games. I also asked how many leaves there were in the whole school yard. Kyle asked the most and he said about a million. My teachers said about a thousand leaves. I said about 10,000 leaves. I once thought there were about 30-40 classrooms in that school. I had fun in 3rd grade. I had Mrs. McKenna from 1st grade to 3rd grade. Then in 4th grade I had Mrs. Kalb and my friends were there too. I remember in 4th grade when I once went to Helping Hands every Monday and Tuesday. I got upset when I went there and I liked it after a while. The teachers there were nice but the kids didn't talk much. Summit Lane was nice and now I'm going to a new school. The End.

My fun vacation to Pennsylvania

My mom and dad were thinking of a fun place to go for a little weekend trip before I started school. They asked me where I wanted to go for vacation and I said maybe we should go to Hershey. The last time I went there with my parents I was only 5 years old and I did not remember much of it. The other choice was Six Flags Great Adventure in Massachusetts. I said that would be a good idea but I said we went there last year and the year before that but in New Jersey. We were getting ready for the trip and mom packed my clothes, my favorite food and the important things I needed. I was so excited because we were staying over in a hotel for 3 nights.

Mom and Dad shared the driving and dad drove there with his car because mom thought it was bigger than her car. I always enjoy long drives because I get to do different things along the way. One of the things I like to do is write in my journal. I like to listen to my Cd's of my favorite music. I also like to look at the road exit numbers. I like to see the license plates on the highway. Along the way we got some food at Wendy's. The one thing I did not like when I was in the car was the traffic and I kept telling dad to go on a different road. It was lucky that we had a navigating system to help from getting lost.

Soon we got to the La Quinta hotel and I got so excited because we were going to a new room right near Hershey Park and we stayed at Room 310. I liked the room so much. The thing I liked most in the room was the bathroom with the citrus soap and the small bottle of citrus shampoo. I got curious about the new bar of soap because I didn't know that the employees put new soap in the room. I saw about 3 bars of citrus soap and about 2 small bottles of citrus shampoo. We had breakfast about 3 times and my last breakfast at the hotel was a big breakfast with bread, eggs and waffles. I also had some half and half cream packets in all 3 breakfast days in the hotel. I loved half and half a lot and I also liked taking the half and half packets in IHOP. I had the butter every time when I got bread for my hotel breakfast. For my big breakfast at the La Quinta hotel I had waffles and I could not finish them because I thought I would be full after it.

After breakfast from the hotel we went to Hershey Park for 2 days and I rode on the Hershey Park carousel and I saw on the carved wooden plaque that there were 42 horses. I also rode on the falcon ride but it was scary for me and my mom. Another ride I rode on was the Monorail Train that was up high over the paths of the park and we saw a view of the park. I also took another ride on a different train and it was fun. Then we took a little walk around the park and we got something to eat. After that I wanted to go to Hershey's Chocolate World to make some chocolate kisses and see how they make Hershey's Kisses and chocolate bars. I got my badge there and I liked it. After I got my picture taken we went to get some candy and my parents told me not to get too much. On the tour the man said we had the 97 car as 1997 and I said hello to the 96 car as the 1996 car. We had the 97 car on the tour and I thought there were 200 cars in the ride. The best part of the ride was seeing them make the candy. I wished I could have some of it. We got to see the singing cows and I said hello to them and told them that my name is Matty. When we got off we had to get our picture and I liked it. After the tour we went to the souvenir store and we got glass cups with names on them. Mom didn't get her cup because they didn't have her name on their cup or maybe it ran out. So mom wanted to get some hot chocolate made by Hershey's. I thought that would be OK but I told her to have it about once a week. We had fun at Hershey's Chocolate World and we took the tram or trolley and I sat next to SpongeBob. I said we had to go to parking field 75. We found our car and we went back to the La Quinta Hotel.

The next day we went to Hershey Park just to see the water park to cool off in the water. Dad told me to remember where we parked and I remembered that it was parking field 57. We had to change in the lockers to take off all our clothes and change into our bathing suit. We headed for the Boardwalk and the first ride we went on was the Lazy River where we went around 3 times. Mom was looking for us and she couldn't catch up with us because we were too far away from her. Dad asked if I wanted to go a third time and I said that would be fine. I did not want to go a fourth time because I might get wrinkled fingers after a while. We went back to the bench and saw mom feeling worried about where we were. She asked why she couldn't catch up with us. We said maybe because we were too far away from her. Next we went to the wave pool and I told dad that it was my last time in the pool for the summer. I felt sad but I had fun. The waves were fun too. I tried to get away from them and I didn't make it. When I wanted to come out I dried off on the towel and told mom that this was my last time in the water for the summer. We changed back into our clothes and got something to eat. We had pizza and I did not want the sauce so I took it off. I liked the pizza and I took a walk and I wanted Jolly Rancher and mom said no. So I wanted cotton candy so badly and mom said okay and said just spend the dollar and I asked for the blue cotton candy and he gave me some cotton candy. I liked it and we went back to our lockers to pack the bathing suits and put them back in the bag. It was a fun day and we took the tram back and we went back to parking field 57. We got to the car and mom thought we were at parking field 55. And we went back to the hotel.

The next morning I had the big breakfast and we packed to leave the hotel and we went to the car. Before I left I took some half and half cream packets with me for home. When I got in the car I thought I lost SpongeBob in the hotel so I checked back in the hotel room and I found him crying all alone. We took him back in the car and headed for the Crayola Factory in Easton, Pennsylvania. When we got there I took SpongeBob with me and I went to the second floor and went in the coloring room where I colored my seahorse picture. I also found out how they make Crayola crayons with wax. It was fun and I went to the Crayola store where we bought some stuff and we found out every color crayon that Crayola ever made. We got the stuff and we went back in the car to go back home. We had a long ride but it was fun. I liked going to Hershey Park and looking at the hotel. When we got home I watched some TV. I was sad that vacation was over so I had fun watching TV. It was a fun vacation and I loved it so much. The End.

How I started to like rolls of paper and drawing

I started to like drawing back in 2003. When I was 4 years old my mom and dad would take me to the mall. I would always like to go to the bookstore. The first section I ran to when I was little was the section on cars. My parents always reminded me when I was around 3 to 4 I could identify most cars that my parents or family relatives pointed to. As I'm getting older I am more interested in buildings and parking lots because I like to know how many floors there are in a building and how many parking spaces there are in a parking lot. I also like to know how many stairs there are in a building. At the bookstore I used to like getting journals. In the journal I'd like to write about different things depending on how I felt. If I saw a movie I liked I would write about it and how I enjoyed it and give it a rating. On other days I would like to write about the roads and blocks I drove down with mom and dad and I would like to look at the houses. Then when I got home I would try to remember from my memory some of the houses and I would try to draw them as I remembered them. Since then I started to like drawing because it was like magic creating the pictures. As I became interested in drawing houses I would try my best to make it look like the real house. It's not so easy but pop would help me with the design. I could spend hours on drawing roads, maps, houses, cars and street signs on my roll of paper as this reminded me of the blocks I would drive down with my parents and the rolls of paper seem to never end but the blocks we drove on always come to an end. Eventually, my roll of paper will run out but it takes a while and sometimes I connect rolls of paper together to make it longer. This sometimes makes mom go crazy because I have so many rolls of paper on the floor. Before I go to bed I must make sure I put my rolls of paper away. I can never have enough. I started to sing a song about a roll of paper and it was a good song. The words to my song are "Yay roll of paper, yay roll of paper, it's my favorite thing in the whole wide world". I remember one Christmas asking mom to write Santa a letter to bring me rolls of paper so I could continue my drawing. When I looked under the Christmas tree I saw cars, SpongeBob, DVDs of Disney movies, but no rolls of paper and I was sad. Mom said maybe Santa left it for you somewhere else. When we went to visit pop he said Santa told me to give this to you. I opened it from a bag all wrapped up and I screamed. "Yay, rolls of paper!" There were about ten of them packed with crayons, pencils and a ruler and I gave pop the biggest hug. It was a dream come true. It was my best Christmas ever. In first grade I was once in the nurse's office waiting for my dad to pick me up and they didn't have rolls of paper to draw on but they had plenty of coloring books so the nurse said I could color in them while I waited for dad. She was a nice lady and she talked to me and told me how nice I color. I like her because she made me feel good. I sometimes wonder if there is a roll of paper that never ends. By early 2009 I think I stopped liking rolls of paper because I wasted too much paper. Then I thought drawing was fun because I was getting better at it and I thanked pop for that. The End.

A story I wrote about The Ketteler family in my black and white book

When I was about 3 years old I would ask my mom or dad to get me a black and white book to write my stories and drawings. I also liked to put my stickers on the pages and on the cover. I must have wrote at least 10 stories with about 6 or more pages for each story. My stories were about a made up family called the Ketteler family and they were from a made up town called Kettelerville in the state of Ohio. The characters in the book were Mr. Mike Ketteler who was George's father. George was the little boy in the story and he had a lot of cool adventures with his family. Mrs. Susan Ketteler was George and Kim's mother and she always made sure that they were always taken good care of. The grandpa was Hanton Ketteler and he had a place to live in the Ketteler's house in an apartment made for him and his wife. The grandma was Newton Ketteler and she lived with Hanton and they were happy living with the Ketteler family.

They once took a vacation to New York City to visit all the nice tall buildings. The one that they went to visit was the Empire State Building which was their most favorite building in New York City. The Ketteler family had a good time in New York City and Mrs. Susan Ketteler liked the stores. George has a little sister and her name is Kimberly Ketteler and she liked to play with her dolls and to play games with her older brother George. They had a short stay in New York for 3 days and then had to head back home to Kettelerville, Ohio as George had to get ready for school and the father had to go back to work. Their drive back to Ohio was about 8-10 hours and George always loved the rides as he would make up adventures in his book that he always brought with him on trips.

For the long ride home the family would have to make stops along the way to make a pit stop and to eat if they were hungry and fill up their car with gas. Little Kimmy liked to listen to her favorite songs on the trip. Sometimes the family would sing and George would continue writing his adventures. One of George's stories was about when he went on a field trip with his class to Sea World and he got to see the dolphins and the seals and he even got splashed and started to laugh because it felt good to get wet. He always wrote stories to keep himself busy so he wouldn't be bored. Another story he liked to write about was when he visited the Auto Plant where they make cars and he always enjoyed seeing how the cars were made and what they look like when they were finished. There were so many workers on the line including men and women. He would always dream about becoming a car designer. George always had a big imagination for his age and always enjoyed writing as this gave him great joy and he could do anything or be anybody. I always wondered how he got all his ideas. Along the ride home he would write maybe 5 stories and he would make them exciting with tales of adventure. He didn't like to share his stories as he felt he always had to improve them but he liked the feeling of writing a story. He promised one day when he felt ready to he would put it in a book and read it to his kids when he would be a grown up.

George was shy so his writing would make him feel good because his stories would take him to different places and he would always be the center of the story like a hero. I like George because he is fun and he knows how to make me feel good when I read his adventures.

That is why I write this story about George and the Ketteler family as there are so many stories to tell because George loves to write and the family likes to go on trips so I can write many stories.

Another story George wrote about was when they took a train ride through the country to visit family relatives and George pretended the train was like a time machine bringing them back in time as he waited for them to arrive at their relatives.

George always wanted to visit his relatives and was all excited and he enjoyed looking out the window.

It was time for George to close his book and sleep for a while as his mom said he should rest because they would be home in a couple of hours and Kimmy was sleeping for a while. So George closed his book and closed his eyes and fell asleep. Before he knew it Mom woke him and Kimmy up and Dad carried them up to bed where they both had smiles on their faces. Mom gave them a kiss goodnight and they went to sleep. The End.
